Caves du Manoir de Grandouet

The cellar is located in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, near the village of Cambremer, on the Cider Road where the soil and climate make it a privileged site for cider products.

The 18th century press belongs to the Grandval family since 1856. The grandfather Yvon undertook the reconstruction of the manoir and developed the cider production from the years 1945. François the father continued this development and still deals with the distillation and the aging of calvados. Today, Stephane the son, supported by his wife Lucile, continues this knowledge.

In this typical Pays d’Auge farm dedicated to AOC / PDO apples and milk, production is now converted into organic farming.

Passed into the Grandval family for three generations, all the appellation products are made with cider apples, about 25 varieties, and aged in half-timbered cellars with the aim of continuously improving the taste quality of the products.
